What a date NATO has picked for its Madrid Summit. Of all days in the year, those of the Sun and Black Moon conjunction: exactly on the 29 and 30 of June. The Sun encounters the witch, the visceral lady of the life and death drives.
An easy sextile between Venus and Jupiter (28-29/June) points to comforts and social pleasures for the attendees, and it does indicate an agreement being reached. Turkiye won’t prevent Sweden and Finland from joining NATO – and joining fast.
Notwithstanding, there is no escaping the viscerality (BM in Cancer) which is stirred up by national and territorial interests generating conflict in the undercurrent, instigating the disruptive quality already present in NATO’s chart, a Venus-Uranus cardinal square (a disruptive tension between being allied or being free).
Talk about disruptive: guess who Mars, the god of war, is conjuncting right now? Eris-Discordia, the goddess of strife. Remember her? She’s the one who threw the Golden Apple for the goddesses to duel upon, what eventually caused the Trojan war.
Add to it the fact that Mars hits Pluto, lord of the underworld, in a harsh square immediately after partying with Eris, by the end of the summit. What could go wrong?
The presence of a Venus-Jupiter sextile is what softens a little bit what, otherwise, would be an incredibly hardcore sky, instigating war. Well, that is in fact what Eris-Mars-Pluto and the Sun-Black Moon square to Jupiter speak of: preparation for war, malicious intentions, disruption and destruction. Do expect some kind of immediate provocation. Mars’ square to Pluto, peaking on July 1st and also squaring the USA’s Pluto, can be quite pernicious.
The new “strategic concept” sets it clearly:
– Russia is seen as the direct military threat to NATO’s rule-based order (which actually means: unilateral imposition of self-serving rules that are out-of-order with actual international law);
– China is officially considered a threat to the system;
– and NATO is the expansionist means of the US Empire, trying to save its already lost hegemony and its devouring neo-liberal system.
The USA’s 4th of July is on its way and the empire’s Solar Return is also marked by the witch’s spell. The Black Moon-Sun conjunction during NATO’s summit totally highlights this very aspect present in the USA’s 2022 Solar Return occurring a few days ahead and just before Joe Biden’s Black Moon Lilith Return, too.
In the midst of it all, this week, we also have a stationary Neptune, changing gears into retrograde motion. Neptune, the false flags and deception lord, as well as the signifier of dreams and greater comprehension, goes retrograde. That can indicate the rug being pulled from under people’s feet, causing their rose glasses to fall. As it intensifies Neptune, ruler of the waves, one could feel a little seasick. Keep aiming for the island.
The month of July also brings the second hit of the USA’s Pluto Return (2/3) and the peak of one the most important aspects of 2022: the Uranus conjunction to the North Node in Taurus, which marks economic changes and surprises.
