This week, the Black Moon transiting in Cancer (Apr 14, 2022 to Jan 8, 2023) is highlighted by the Sun’s conjunction to it and the New Moon right with it (Jun 29, 2:53 UTC).
As the Black Moon transits in Cancer, bodies are especially mobilized by emotions and affections.
Themes such as family, children, home, food, familiarity, nation, belonging, and emotional security guide the underlying current that sensitizes bodies in either craving or repulsion.
Hunger flows: for affection, for food, for shelter, for belonging – be it to a nation, a nest, or a loving embrace.
Sensitized are the bodies, and the power to affect and be affected pulsates powerfully – viscerally sensitive.
The nest becomes strange, as that which might be strange in the nest emerges – as well as that which is strangely-familiar.
At the same time, bodies viscerally seek to nest.
It is either estrangement, or visceral belonging.
Get cozy and buckle up. The Moon is new and visceral, and the month of July is just about to begin.
Happy New Moon with Black Moon.
