The Black Moon-Neptune Spell Trilogy – Episode One, part 3

Nine years after I first realized the highly relevant implications of this astrological combination of Black Moon and Neptune, having consciously lived through their aspects since, including the opposition in 2015 and the Pisces conjunction in 2019, and having deeply studied it through the years, analysing several astrological charts related to the history of nazism whilst investigating its history and origins, I can affirm:

Nazism is related to the astrological contact between Black Moon and Neptune, the great Mutable ruler (in part 1 of episode 1 in this series, I explain what the Mutable modality is, what themes are related to it, and how Neptune is its great ruler).

They don’t need to be necessarily in Mutable signs and can be in the Cardinal or Fixed modalities as well, for the contact between them could suffice to cast up a visceral edge to Mutable themes, which might be emphasized or not by other points in the ample astrological configuration. Moreover, Black Moon in Mutable signs and under significant Mutable tensions (i.e. oppositions, squares or T-squares in Mutable signs) can be found in a fair amount of historical charts.

The Third Reich’s chart, as presented in Campion’s Book of Horoscopes, the one of Hitler’s rise to power in January 30 of 1933, has a Mutable Black Moon, just ingressing into Gemini, and applying to square Neptune in Virgo (and the Lunar Nodes in Virgo-Pisces).

What about the most famously known representative of nazism so far? Well, Adolf Hitler himself had a Mutable stellium in Gemini – Neptune, Pluto, and Black Moon. She, however, although in the same sign, is not conjunct Neptune in Hitler’s natal chart. But guess what was going on in his Solar Arc Directions (predictive technique) at that  moment when he gave up his dream of becoming an artist, which eventually led him to place his devotion in the Nazi project? At that defining moment, his Solar Arc Directed Neptune was conjuncting his natal Black Moon – you can’t make these things up. Conjunctions by Solar Arc Directions are very specific to a chart and mark significant moments, which can point to objective happenings in one’s life.

Directed Neptune was applying, within an orb of less than 1º (super sharp) when, in November 21 of 1907, he was rejected as a painter at the admission exam for the Vienna School of Fine Arts, to where he had gone after his mother had died that same year. Talk about adding insult to psychological injury – to a not very well structured psyche. The Black Moon-Neptune spell was cast – and not in service of art, nor prayer. Harshly disappointed, in precarious conditions both materially and psychologically, he joining the military to serve in WWI, where he then found some kind of purpose to his days, so to speak, and was thrilled by it. The rest is WW history.

“Is propaganda, as we understand it, not also a form of art?”, asked Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Propaganda Minister, in June 1935, as the Black Moon transited towards Neptune in the sign of Virgo. Goebbels himself had the Black Moon in Gemini in a Mutable opposition to Saturn, and belonged to the generation of Neptune and Pluto in the sign of Gemini.

There’s something I must mention now, a particular transit which intertwines with some of the Black Moon-Neptune issues of our days. At the end of the XIX century, there was a conjunction between Neptune and Pluto in Gemini. Being both generational, slow moving planets, this refers to a greater cycle. It takes them about 490 years to conjunct. Therefore, such a meeting marks noticeable happenings in societies. In the sign of thought and communication, as part of the effervescence of the moment, came psychoanalysis, the “talking cure.” Taking place in the Mutable realm, the Neptune-Pluto conjunction brought up questions and conceptions about the human and the other. If, on the one hand, psychoanalysis emerged as a talking cure addressing the unconscious (Pluto) in the human psyche (Neptune); on the other hand, the obsession (Pluto) with an idealisation of the human (Neptune) meant a boost to eugenics.

The exact conjunction occurred in 1891 and 1892, but the two planets travelled together for a few years in a pretty close orb, and were conjuncted together by the Black Moon twice, in 1888 and in 1898. Quite a few of the ‘old-school’ Nazis, officials of the German Nazi regime in WW2, have that Mutable trio in their birth charts (check this link for several charts, with highlighted aspects).  The emergence of the mentality that would allow for nazism to manifest as it did a few decades later, is marked also by this significant intertwinement. Albeit, the specificity of the duo Black Moon-Neptune unmistakably stands by itself , as we can see when looking further – and earlier – into the history of eugenics and racial cleansing in episode 3 of the present trilogy.

All that said, I must also emphatically warn that the presence of a Black Moon-Neptune conjunction does not always  mean the person or event is Nazi – of course not. What this combination always does is highlight the issue of the human and the other, viscerally and intoxicatingly so (be it literally or poetically). When channelled in a life enhancing way, this configuration may bring about enchanting works of art and devotion, as mentioned in part 1 of this episode. Interestingly, having a similar configuration to Hitler’s, Charles Chaplin was politically the opposite to Adolf, and even denounced him through his art, which took the other and the human into profound consideration. Both of them had Black Moon in the Mutable sign of Gemini, the sign of communication. Both men had a visceral capacity to impact through communication – be it through words or beyond them.

One of my favourite movies has a major Black Moon-Neptune conjunction: Joker – such a masterpiece. Moreover, people who have tons of Mutability in their astrological charts are often quite interesting and can be immensely humane. The themes of humanity and otherness are still key to them, but will be experienced from a crucially different perspective. Therefore, the findings I here present are not to generate that very trap of prejudice and discrimination, but rather allow for a deeper examination, discernment and comprehension. There are wonderfully refined or talented expressions possible for these configurations.

Nonetheless, the warnings Black Moon and Neptune convey are not to be underestimated, by no means. The serious consequences of the matters they can signify should better be acknowledged with care – most importantly when referring to collective affairs, where unconscious patterns tend to, more easily, get the better hand. Hence, this study advances, piercing through and unveiling the Black Moon-Neptunian veils.

For instance,  in 2014-2015, the Black Moon was in Virgo, in exact opposition to Neptune in January 2015.  The Donbass republics where having to fight the Nazis who had taken power in Ukraine through a US maneuvered coup. Under such astrological configuration, in May 2015, Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko signed a law glorifying the Banderite Nazi OUN and the UPA, whose crimes, as documented by Polish parliament, included committing genocide against the Polish people during WW2.

Another opposition between Black Moon in Virgo and Neptune in Pisces occurs in 2024, being preceded by Black Moon’s opposition to Saturn in Pisces, as she ingresses to Virgo now, on October 3, 2023. Considering all we have examined in parts 1 and 2 of this first episode, we better be alert.

Noteworthily, after the publication of part 2, Black Moon-Neptune and the Whereabouts (of Nazism), in the Canadian parliament, on September 22, Nazi participant in WW2 Yaroslav Hunka sat in the gallery and received an ovation during Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit. Needless to say, if you read part 1 of this series, both Ukraine and Canada have the BM-Nep conjunction.

Again, I must register that Nazism isn’t the only possibility for a person, situation, or country having this configuration. Healthier and more interesting expressions exist, too. Notably, the astrological configuration will mark a moment in time and, therefore, may even indicate those opposing the Nazi ideology, those having to fight it or eradicate it. For instance, the Third Reich got into power with Black Moon in Gemini squaring Neptune in Virgo. In turn, the two post-WW2 Germanies had each their BM-Nep opposition. Knowing how the Gehlen Organization (vide part 2, The Whereabouts) was incorporated into the CIA’s network, spying on the Soviets and supporting insurgencies in places like Ukraine, and  later became West Germany’s official Federal Intelligence Service, we can’t say that the conjunction operated in the same way for both East Germany and West Germany. Nonetheless, however different the perspectives, both still had to deal with the Nazis, and both had to deal with the issue of the other.

Thus, interpreting such issues is a serious work that requires careful study. When conducted responsibly, it can bring sound comprehension and, when necessary, break the spell, cut through the veils.

Considerations

The first episode of the Black Moon-Neptune Spell Trilogy has been delivered. Going forward, the plot unmistakably thickens. In the next episodes, we look into present and near-future transits, and investigate what have NATO and biolabs got to do with it.
