We are in full change of the world-system, as some great astrological aspects show us. I list here the fundamental aspects that articulate with each other and mark this immense transition that the 2020s are bringing. I underline those that are major cyclical milestones of celestial transits. The list, however, includes a few more aspects that add up and also deserve to be highlighted. Here we go:
1) Capricorn Stellium (cluster of 3 or more planets in the same sign – 2020) –Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto. 800-year cycle. In January 2020, Saturn conjuncted Pluto, marking the END, a grand end. Jupiter, in its turn, made 3 conjunctions to Pluto, from March to November of the same year – the first hit taking place in a super Capricorn cluster which included the South Lunar Node (of endings and karma) and Mars, the warrior. In the same month of March, squares of Mars-South Node with Chiron-Black Moon (health and viscerality), the pandemic was declared. This Capricorn stellium, which marks ‘the end’, and profound structural changes, is highlighted throughout 2020 until, in December 2020, Jupiter and Saturn move into the sign of Aquarius, where they mark the Great Mutation.
2) Great Mutation (December, 2020) – 200-year cycle, 800-year cycle. Conjunctions of Jupiter and Saturn moving to the Air element. The START is marked. Beginning of a new time, a 20-year cycle (simple conjunction), a 200-year cycle (great mutation) and also relatable to an 800-year cycle (specificity of the great conjunction). The aspect is at 00º Aquarius, emphasizing the importance of brotherhood, cooperation and the vision of a shared future for humanity.
3) Saturn-Uranus Square (2021-2022) – the breaking of structures that were no longer going well, the “tectonic plates” of the world-system move. This aspect is more common to happen, but because of its connection with the Great Mutation (both rulers of the Great Mutation in Aquarius), it becomes stronger. It had 3 peaks between Feb and Dec/2021 and still reverberates strongly in 2022, as these planets remain in an orb of less than 1º30′. Also in 2022, this aspect articulates with the Lunar Nodes on the Taurus-Scorpio axis by square and conjunction/opposition, in April and July respectively. Note: A few days before the Lunar Nodes enter this axis of the signs of resources and finance, Presidents Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping announced that the Russian and Chinese financial systems will be independent of the West – the world-system change is opening up.
4) USA’s Pluto Return (246 years – 2022), karmic return for the empire – collapsing as such. It affects the country itself and the entire planet, dangerously. Beast that struggles in despair. Inevitable transformation. There will be three peaks: February, July and December 2022.
5) Jupiter-Neptune Conjunction in Pisces (April 2022) – 165-year cycle. To this conjunction between the two rulers of Pisces in their domicile sign is also added Venus, which is exalted in Pisces. That is, the three celestial planets which are most favored in Pisces, gather in this sign. Moment of fertile conception. Dissolution and conception. Something dissolves. Something is conceived. The dimension of the Imaginary stands out. Illusion vs. great understanding. A shoal = multipolarity. It’s pretty special. However, it is also important to know that, in the same month, there are other factors to be aware of: Mars and Saturn, the two planets traditionally considered the two malefic, also conjoin – danger; Black Moon enters Cancer.
6) Pluto enters Aquarius (2023/2024 to 2043/2044) – strong technological advances; extreme control of society by technological means; or social organization that empowers and transforms – this is the antidote to the perverse control of society and technological abuse. Cyber warfare. Higher risk of radioactive hazard. Greater mobilization with Space. China stands out in power, takes its place more clearly, which increases the direct danger from the dethroned empire. Social transformation. “Power to the people.” To the organized people.
7) Saturn-Neptune Conjunction at 00º of Aries (February 2026) – The conception of the new world-system becomes more concrete. Birth of a new reality. These two planets conjunct every 36 years, which is not a long historical cycle. However, as with the Great Mutation (Jupiter-Saturn), its location in the Zodiac and the way it occurs can actually take us back to broader historical perspectives and significant historical moments. This conjunction is really remarkable, as it occurs in the first degree of the entire Zodiac, a signifying degree of birth and a degree called the vernal point, which marks the change of season when the Sun passes through it, which is used in world astrology as a reference moment for understanding the year ahead worldwide. Not only does it happen to this degree, but that this conjunction happens to this degree is extremely rare. I researched 7 thousand years before and three thousand years after this moment: considering an orb of 3 degrees to the vernal point, it is only found in 4361 BC at 00º; 1742 BC at 00º (exact at 29º Pisces); 595 BC at 2º; 2026 AD at 00º 44′; 3172 AD at 3º. Given the rarity of its occurrence, this is a really significant transitional milestone. The aspects between Saturn and Neptune – and fundamentally the conjunction – by historical observation of our era, are associated with socialism and communism – these movements on Earth coincide with the contacts between these two planets in the sky. Therefore: graduation and advancement, resulting in new forms of socialism. It’s time for socialism – in new forms. What starts to take place now, in this immense transition, draws from previous experiences and advances.
KEY ASTROLOGICAL ARTICULATION: The Great Mutation’s mark happens with Jupiter and Saturn (2020); then they both need to conjunct Neptune to fertilize it: in 2022, Jupiter conjuncts Neptune; in 2026, Saturn conjuncts Neptune.
The change of the world-system is marked by these aspects. And, of course, it will continue to unfold. As I put in 2020, there may be more than one system concurrently, for a transition period. According to Wallerstein, from the bifurcation of the system that occurs in its structural crisis, it can tip to one side or the other, or even to multiple systems. And really, as I stated in 2020, I see a transition period where there will be more than one system. While in the global east and south a new world is being gestated, the west will not give in to the new system so easily, with an attempt at a turbo reset (vide “great reset”, and the imperial beast in despair), as a resistance to the Great Mutation that, however, inevitably will happen. In the west, reinventing the system will take a little longer, it will take some processes of its own.
Reaffirming excerpts from the November 2020 work:
On the Importance of Russia
Whilst an empire collapses – not without a fight, or multiple ongoing wars – and another empire emerges, we are all better of, especially in such Aquarian times, with the presence of more than one power – or two. Neither Unipolarity, nor Bipolarity. It is time for “friendship between people” and real “fraternity between nations.” There can be “empires”, if plural. A Multipolar World.
Millenary Civilizations
Civilized international relations can be observed in the partnerships and alliances we see emerging and being nourished in the East. Millenary civilizations such as the Persians, the Rus, the Han and other such Eurasian ethnicities, cultures resulting from such long collective history, are aware of the importance of mutual respect. Countries such as Iran, Russia and China treat each other as equals, trade in a win-win perspective and become allies in defending each nation’s right to sovereignty.
Winds are blowing from the East
Those who challenge the empire, must be demonized. Therefore, the censorship in the western main stream media intensifies more and more, and the news are often distorted when referring to Eurasian and Global South countries such as Iran, Venezuela, North Korea, Russia and, China. Are these countries perfect in every sense? No. And neither is the current empire. Nonetheless, the former present a certain coherence in their words, commitments, and deeds in regards to other nations and to their own, which is not so easily found in Western powers nowadays. Arguably, a more decent and civilized treatment of each other and the world can be witnessed on the part of Eurasian powers who advocate and work for a multipolar world.
