February 5, 2023

All planets are now direct, in forward time. This liberates energy to be directed where we see fit.

The Full Moon on February 5, 18h28 UTC, at 16º40 Leo, forms a T-square with Uranus, highlighting the Tectonic Shift for the last time before Saturn goes into Pisces next month. Detachments, changes, further shifts, liberations – and Leo glam, too.

As the Sun is in Aquarius for most of February, he does the final activation of the Saturn-Uranus square, the Tectonic Dance which is a significant part of the Tectonic Shift that has marked 2021 and, even more so, 2022. The plates have danced, the structures of the world-system have undeniably changed and there is no way for them to go back to the way they were. Somethings have broken to liberate the energy and the space for new structures to take place. The plates haven’t yet settled. They will still dance some more, but to a different tune now. They are yet to slide into the right places before accommodating – Saturn in Pisces relates to this process. Notwithstanding, the Tectonic Dance has already occurred and there’s no way back.

It’s now time for Saturn to open the door in the wall, and further conceive of new realities. He will ingress into the Piscean realm on March 7, but Pisces will begin to take over with the Sun’s ingress to it, on the 18, and the New Moon at 1º22 Pisces, on February 20, at 7h05 UTC.
Until then, the Aquarius season highlights Uranus in economy-and-finance Taurus, giving us the opportunity to tackle objective issues, by riddance or provision. Mind you Aquarius is a Fixed sign, thus operational.
Between Feb 2 and 17, we are in the Tectonic Dance corridor – between the Sun’s aspects to both Uranus and Saturn. It’s a great time for advancing or perfecting the changes made, as well as a good period to finalize projects and liberate – regions, situations, energy, creativity, ourselves. A time to tend to our own “tectonic shifts”as well. On 2 to 4 of February, the Sun squared Uranus (surprises, changes, impatience, detachments) at 15º of signs Aquarius and Taurus. On February 15 to 17, The Sun conjuncts Saturn (endurance, structural clarity, setting limits, structuring, an affirmation, a firm stance) at 27º Aquarius – his third and final conjunction to Saturn in Aquarius in this cycle – Saturn’s last important meeting before moving on to Pisces (the Moon will pass by to kiss him goodbye, before the new Moon, but in a super quick visit, as he’s already packing).

Mercury conjuncts Pluto on February 10, at 28º Capricorn right in conjunction to the US Pluto as well – let us pay attention to what the messenger planet says. Mercury-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn has a serious tone, can speak of endings, and also of the transformative power of words.

With the Moon in Libra by then, and Venus heading to Neptune – to conjunct him on Feb 14 to 16 – art, romance, music and devotion call. Venus in Pisces until Feb 20, is already making us more sensitive to our hearts’ desires and longings. By Feb 20, as she ingresses into Aries, she will will be resparkled and want action!

Around Feb 16 and 17 – with Mercury already in Aquarius squaring the Lunar Nodes and sextiling Jupiter, geopolitics asteroid and goddess Pallas going Direct and squaring Jupiter; as the Sun conjuncts Saturn – matters of importance tend to manifest on the geopolitical chessboard.

Moreover, the next month, March, will bring many significant chances in our color palette – with noteworthy changes of astrological signs. Let us now rejuvenate with both the breeze and the strong winds of the Aquarian season, before we sail into the Piscean sea. Importantly, February’s New Moon will take us into the Palace of the Rabbit / Cat (the month of, in the year of), meaning the next lunation is one of the most significant ones of the present year.

This Full Moon in Leo, where Queen Black Moon happens to be, comes to inspire our spirits and, in the mids of it all, fuel our creativity – a highly powerful force to draw on in the year of 2023.
