So that’s what the Progressed Moon of Russia in tension with Neptune is about. Okay. This was something that had been worrying me, for this aspect indicated a momentary sense of disillusionment or disappointment for the Russian people in November – could be soft power issues or, at a more material level, intoxication/contamination. Due to it being a progression (astro technique), more likely to be related to an emotional effect, of a Neptunian kind, which could affect the morale of the people (Moon). A Neptunian crossing to be dealt with in this month.
So now we know what the frustration is: the withdrawal of Russian Forces from Kherson. As Andrei Martyanov put it: the optics are surely not good for Russia, but there’s more to war than optics. As Scott Ritter has also stressed, this was an operational readjustment of an indefensable defensive position. A difficult decision, as we had been previously warned about and which was clearly and publicly explained by General Surovikin to Defense Minister Shoigu, and that has been backed by Ramzan Kadyrov and Yevgeny Prigozhin’s approval.

We mustn’t forget this is Mars Retrograde time. As Pluto went Direct, power issues intensified (Oct 8). As Saturn went Direct, the sense of reality became enhanced and hit the ground (Oct 23). But with Mars now retro (since Oct 30), this is not the most forward martial time. What is of great importance during a Mars retrograde period is to secure defenses and properly safe guard what one already has – pulling back if need be. Get the REserves ready. Re-strengthen Mars. For there is still much ahead.
Politically, Kherson is already Russia. Check. That is good. Militarily, it can take a bit more time. And patience is necessary. Due to astrocartographic considerations, I seen Medvedev’s map closer to how things will eventually be than the current configuration. But patience is necessary – as well as preparation, wisdom and wit.
The dangers regarding the Kakhovka hydroelectric dam are, indeed, considerable – also astrologically. Not only is watery Neptune in trine to visceral Black Moon (an aspect which can operate either ways, negatively or positively), and about to be squared again by martial Mars (more of a negative tendency) in the second half of November, but also one of the recent eclipses is of a Saros series that began with a stellium in Pieces (a lot of water). Prudence with water is advisable.
The fact that everyone and everything, including animals and monuments, are being evacuated from Kherson also allows for the proper military measures to be taken in the area when the time comes, no holds barred.
The November 8 eclipse and its additional Mercury-Uranus opposition took place right on Surovikin’s Nodal axis. We can be sure the man is aware of the importance of his mission – and is on the mission. Transiting Jupiter (the general) in quincunx (adjusting aim) to his Mars (soldiers) at this moment says: the general has to adjust considering soldiers, and adjusts the direction of soldiers. We then check the bigger aspects and see: by progression, Mars applies in a favorable sextile to his Jupiter for more than a year ahead – a good progression for a general in command to have.
Mars is retrograde and will move forward on the ecliptic (the path), from January 12 on. January will be a forward into the future month undoubtedly – no time for holding back, with Uranus also going direct, Black Moon entering Leo, and Jupiter fully in martial Aries.
However, make no mistake: already with the next New Moon in Sagittarius and Jupiter Direct just 5 minutes later on Nov 23, as explained in the Hello November piece, it will be forward time, too. Mars the warrior still being retro, but Jupiter the general and the horses moving ahead. And the Full Moon of December 8 is a martial one – conjunct Mars by degree. December will be a highly important month strategically – and it is also when the third hit of the US Pluto Return will occur, exact on December 28.
Thus let us be patient with the – still necessary – retrogradation. Within the Scorpionic month we are in now, revelations take place, yet there is more than meets the eye.
