So here are some of the good, the bad and the radioactive topics related to this Pluto in Aquarius transit:

Nuclear Energy

In the astrological energy axis, Leo concentrates not just attention but energy, whilst Aquarius radiates. Radiation and the transmission of energy are Aquarian words. Including the synapsis transmission in our brain, that allows for transmitting information and for thought to happen – that, too, relates to Uranus, Aquarius’ ruler. Hence, having a futuristic vision and insights about the future are associated to Aquarius, a sign that highlights the sharing of ideas and ideals, as well as the transmission of thought and energy.

Pluto is the power house of Kundalini – again, energy. Having Plutonium’s planet in the sign of Uranium’s planet does speak of an era where nuclear energy is an important matter.

Firstly, due to the power of deterrence that nuclear weapons, with sophisticated technological advancements, bring to warfare and, thus, their importance in the balance of power in the world. Notwithstanding, that presents also the risk of them being used. They now exist so they don’t need to be used – unless you are Dr. Strangelove, of course. For that level of Strangelove destruction not to be played around with, we better keep on elevating the Kundalini, so to speak. Nuclear energy, a somewhat fashionable topic of this transit, better be used for life-enhancing purposes.

That brings us to the second reason for its importance in this period. Oliver Stone’s 2022 documentary Nuclear Now presents nuclear as a rather viable energy source for societies, being much safer than it has been thought to be.

It’s true that a nuclear power plant existing to provide energy to a population could be a target for the nasty, like the Ukrainian Nazis threatening the Zaporozhye NPP for some time now. But that is just how the nasty work. They will try and be destructive in any way they think they can – including targeting other sources of energy as well, as has been the case with the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant in Kherson (June 2023).

Interestingly, Stone points to the fact that the “7 sisters” of Western oil companies in the 1950s worked on propagandising against the use of nuclear energy for civil purposes. Amongst some of their measures, the Rockefeller Foundation, who in fact financed and made possible the creation of Plutonium (which is artificially made out of Uranium, an existing element in nature) for the creation of the atomic bombs which were used on Japan in 1945, funded in 1956 a report against the use of nuclear energy for civil purposes, stating “Any radiation is genetically undesirable.” Peculiarly, that was done after President Eisenhower delivered his 1953 Atoms for Peace speech, in an attempt to save USA’s face after using nuclear weapons, proposing and praising how wonderful the use of nuclear energy may be for peaceful purposes, such as providing power, which the oil industry didn’t seem to like very much. Well, the USSR took that idea rather seriously and, in 1954, the first nuclear power plant for civil, peaceful purposes was brought to us by the Soviets. Two years later, Rockefeller makes sure there’s a report against any such thing.

Nowadays, it is the Russian state corporation Rosatom that leads the industry with an outstanding integrated business model that includes the responsible management of spent nuclear fuel in a way no competitor provides.

Recently, just before Pluto’s ingress, the Chinese presented a nuclear battery for mobile phones: “Betavolt, a Chinese startup, has announced that it has developed a revolutionary battery capable of powering smartphones for an impressive 50 years without requiring recharging. Termed as the world’s first miniaturised atomic energy system, this nuclear battery utilizes 63 nuclear isotopes compactly arranged within a module smaller than a coin”, writes the Economic Times.

In whichever way or scale we look at it, more than ever, in times of Pluto in Aquarius, energy is power.

Technological Advancements

Unforeseen technological advancements are a given – upgrading electronic warfare, high-speed travel, digitalised procedures in everyday life. The core of the matter is how wisely do we use technological advancements, artificial intelligence being one of them.

Unsurprisingly, AI-pop ChatGPT was initially released (Nov 2022) on the brink of Pluto entering Aquarius, and its stable release just occurred this very month (Jan 2024).

There’s the AI hype and there is the AI tool – not always coinciding. It sure is a potent tool. In one of his interviews to Oliver Stone, released in 2017, President Putin mentioned that whoever controlled AI would rule the world (quoting from memory). So there’s no use in being merely afraid of it – a nation better master it.

And that is, precisely, the crucial issue: artificial intelligence is not real intelligence and it is not the master; it is a tool to be mastered. It is a compilation of data, applying statistics, mining data, extracting correlations from previously produced data. It cannot create, only plagiarise – no matter how kaleidoscopic a plagiarism. It can extract projections and estimate the future merely based on the past. It cannot create the future – it cannot fully innovate. Nonetheless, it can carry out data processing in a highly useful speed and optimise many human activities. The human brain, nevertheless, cannot be substituted by any computer, by any artificial intelligence, which it is limited to the programming it is formatted in. The artefact of AI cannot judge, cannot create. It can compile, mine, extract and reproduce data within the framework of its programming. Thus, as awarded neuroscientist Miguel Nicolelis highlights, mind not just who controls the means of production, but who controls the means of programming. A machine cannot become human, but humans can be robotised when their brains are systematically synchronized to the digital logic, he warns.

Chess computer Deep Blue did win when playing against world champion Garry Gasparov. Chess being an algorithmic game, in which all possible moves can be foreseen and all logical possibilities run through for decision making. Yet, mind you: despite the algorithmic analysis capability of the chess computer, Gasparov won against it 4 times. Because only humans can twist and turn in absurd ways, going in and out of absurdity like no programmed artefact can comprehend. It’s human nature, baby. It can be both our downfall and our saviour. Call it the divine spark only nature can provide.

We gain more of such spark as we exercise it. Our own development comes by enhancing our capacity to comprehend, to express, to read, to write, to finely elaborate – refining ourselves, flourishing as humans. What are we here for if not to truly experience life? The flourishing of the human is what we should aim for, if you ask me. Technology is to be used under this premise. Ultimate analysis and decision making cannot be delegated to artefacts. Come on, how lazy – and, in some cases, irresponsible – is that. Algorithms are programming, they are neither gods nor human.

Here comes technological Aquarian enhancement, allowing for greatly efficient tools, under human responsibility. It is we humans who will answer to how we humans put technology to use – by the time Pluto enters Pisces (2043-4), sign of the biological, some of the effects will show forth.

Transhumanism

Undoubtedly, the pernicious, clever yet unintelligent as they are, think a human brain can be artificially made and work just the same as a natural human brain. That is not exactly the case. There is a higher technology that is operated by Spirit, and that they cannot create. As my friend and valorous professor Maria Nikolaki stresses, they cannot create the spirit. But, oh boy, do the pernicious get thrilled by the idea of playing God (without sustaining God’s responsibility, natürlich).

WEF’s Carl Schwab, perhaps the most cartoonish of the transhumanists, can’t wait to merge humans with machines! Machines! He luvs machines.

Check Rand’s jolly article on the internet of bodies. Of course, it is always for your own health and safety. But is it? All of it, really? Never mind mindfulness or, simply put, having attention with yourself by your own means as a person. Have instead a device tracking your eyes and beeping you not to wonder! Be attentive, young lady – are you thinking of that cute young fellow? No, no, no… Achtung!

But the human body as a technological platform is small “hacked” potatoes. For a comprehensive objectification of bodies, merging man and machine as one is transhumanists’ wet dreams.

Howbeit, there exists another, even spookier, transhumanist wet dream: human-animal hybrids. It must be mentioned because there exist those who are insidiously aiming for that. And Pluto in Aquarius can be a freaking weird MF. In these oh so (not) innocent animation and drama series for kids, there’s seriously perverse programming:

  • Sweet Tooth, set in a world in which a virus has killed a majority of the world’s human population, coinciding with the emergence of hybrid babies that are born with animal characteristics – it was first developed by Hulu (2018), an American subscription streaming service owned by The Walt Disney Company, and by 2020 the series had moved to Netflix, where it premiered in June 2021.
  • Kid Joins A School For Hybrid Human-Animals & Creates A Harem (2023), also apocalyptic, humans have nearly gone extinct so when Jin attends his new school, he is surrounded by all sorts of hybrid human-animals, who, of course, act bestially, moved by animal impulses.

So, beware. Not all that is apparently fluffy and supposedly cute and oh so colourful and “inclusive” is innocent and decent. As if trying to promote transgenderism for kids was not perverse enough, some want to mess with the very sense of being human. There is a difference between being playful and pretending to be an animal, for instance, and actually having the psyche, in its relation to the body and notion of self, messed with.

When the powerful but pernicious see that “a change is gonna come, yes it will…” – and it already is – they not only freak out, they want a freak show.

In the overall astrological configuration of the present time, which includes also the Black Moon-Neptune spell issue, an attack, by various means, on humanity itself is perceived; and so is the call to, more than ever, preserve and strengthen our very humanity, including the integrity of our human bodies.

Power to the People and Power for the People

The most recent time we’ve had Pluto in Aquarius was between 1777-8 and 1797-8, where the American revolution was the opening act; the French revolution the most emblematic, with its completely Aquarian motto liberté, égalité, fraternité; and the Haitian revolution was one ignited from below, by the underrepresented majority, that set a precedent of resistance to racial slavery.

The French Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen and the American Bill of Rights were written in this period.

In our current cycle, as Pluto enters Aquarius, the first human rights treaty adopted by the United Nations, the Genocide Convention, is being put to use, as South Africa not only has filed a case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), but nearly 50 of its lawyers are preparing a separate lawsuit against the US and UK governments for complicity in genocide. US officials, including the president, are called out not only in the streets but in a  federal court in California, too.

Meanwhile, the current state of affairs in France has been significantly effervescent, both at the time of Pluto’s first ingress in March 2023, and now in January 2024:

French farmers sendo an SOS to the world.

Pluto in Aquarius translates as power of technology, as well as power through technology – thus, the importance of who controls the means of programming. In the 18th century version of this transit, for instance, a new technology became quite popular: the guillotine. Anyone who escaped it was surely grateful. Nonetheless, the old new tech is a good reminder, to those trying to abuse the power of technology, that things don’t always go as planned with Pluto transiting in the sign of surprises – ask Louis XVI and Robespierre. The best way to secure power in such times is using it for the benefit of society and its people.

Highly enthusiastic with the ideals of Enlightenment, sharing correspondences with Voltaire, Empress Catherine the Great was later concerned with the danger of revolutions. Nevertheless, she did fully embrace and dedicate herself to Russia, making it unequivocally greater, not just in size but in culture and cultural traits as well. Amongst some of her reforms, she encouraged girls into education, she created schools also for orphans, city governments were reformed to better serve the people, and policemen were to be not mere actors of repression but be there to help the people – something, I must say, can be felt nowadays in Russia; I cannot speak for all periods in history, but I have experienced that being a strong characteristic in today’s Russia.

Catherine might not have given the peasant population quite the citizenship status she first intended, but significant reforms where carried out by her which reverberated through time, benefiting the nation to this day. In doing so, she lived through two Pluto transits (in signs) as empress, the second one being in Aquarius.

And it so happened that, during such transit, she founded Odessa, the port city where, as Pushkin described it, “the air is filled with all Europe.” Now, imagine the Odessa of the 21th century as part of the New Silk Roads, the air filled with all Eurasia…

Let us electromagnetically synchronise our brains to this idea and the refreshing Eurasian winds.

Geopolitically, Pluto in Aquarius Now

Well, ladies and gentlemen of the multipolar world in the making, buckle up. On February 13, Mars ingresses in Aquarius too. Guess who he meets right there and then? The protagonist of this article, of course, Pluto. So here are the two of them again. This time, it is in a conjunction at 00º46 Aquarius.

When astrologically observing warfare, the major planets (the social and the generational planets) configure the broader context, but the trigger is Mars, the god of war. In October 2023, he squared an intensified Pluto (stationary Direct), and later opposed general Jupiter on an eclipse day. Now, in February 2024, he ingresses into Aquarius to conjunct Pluto (Feb 12 to 15) on the Great Mutation’s degree. And, after conjuncting also Venus, he will square general  Jupiter (Feb 25 to 28).

This should put everybody on alert, on all fronts, since it is a collective transit. Especially the big three fronts, where empire and its tentacles have their eyes set to bother the three big sovereigns – China, Russia, and Iran. Although I am not saying there are, necessarily, going to be multiple attacks, I’d have all fronts especially attentive, since belligerence tends to up a notch, so to speak.

I don’t  see NATO’s move against Russia being yet fully prepared in the way they intend it – not only from geopolitical observation but also due to the fact that it relates to other astrological aspects which are not peaking yet. That said, just the Nazis across the 404 border have caused enough already, having attacked Donetsk soon after Pluto’s ingress. So caution is always necessary and the Russian Forces know it.

Since 2020, I point to how Pluto on China’s Ascendant (AC) marks its rise to power and, also, the danger that comes with it. In 2023, just by entering Aquarius, the transit said hello. But it is now that it really starts, with exact aspects being perfected. The 1-degree orb activation of the Pluto transit on China’s AC begins on February 7, 2024; and will end on December 26, 2025. The partile (exact) aspects are five altogether: on March 15 and  June 22, 2024; and January 16, September 14 and November 11, 2025.

The detail now is: as Pluto reaches China’s AC, with him comes comes Mars. Thank goodness for the mantle of flowers brought by progressed Venus and Jupiter, currently favouring both the Chinese people (Moon) and the Chinese army (6th house ruled by Moon). But such a Plutonic conjunction demands readiness. When Ukraine had Mars crossing its AC and, just a few days apart, conjuncting Pluto, I foresaw the inevitability of Russia’s entry into Ukraine – February 2022. Hence, I cannot refrain from alerting how this Mars-Pluto conjunction takes place on China’s AC, within a 1-degree orb. It indicates the martial edge of this Pluto-AC transit. Additionally, the fact that Venus will follow speaks of its economic nature too, and that prospects are, eventually, for the better.

Now, obviously, the most inflammable region at the moment is West Asia, where the sky has been falling in too literal terms, with a horrendous genocide being carried out since the the square of Mars and Pluto, who now meet at Zero Aquarius.

Whatever the manifestation, it will further trigger the Great Mutation.

Considerations

Whilst billionaires try and fuss with varied kinds of perverse technologies and geoengeneering, such as raining down sulphur (how Hades-up-in-the-sky is that madness?) and “blocking the Sun” (talk about severe cluelessness); and the worldly powerful but pernicious plot total digital control of societies, minds and bodies, aiming for depopulation and cyborg reset of the system… not all people, and not all peoples, succumb in mere oblivion.

Dystopia is currently the name of the game in Western societies. Let the lies and fake skies fall. The real one can’t be taken down. We will stand tall together and, through dystopian times, bring about our civilisational Renaissance.

In a Dystopian Renaissance, the old world is dying, but this time, a new world is being born.

Skyfall, That’s Where We Start…”

NOTE: Dystopian Renaissance is a concept I coined in 2019, posting it on Instagram, and more formally presented it in my 2020 works on the change of the world-system and in an interview which followed in that same year, republished on varied websites. I now present its specificities related to Pluto’s transit in Aquarius, which is part of this great transition we are experiencing.
